Check the pick up as per the manual.....connect a test meter and poke and prod the sensor.....jiggle some wires.

Have you tested the new coil? Have you followed all the wires from sensor to module to coil and checked they not chafed or broken? Is there power to the coil? have you bypassed the kill switch and re-checked.

That'll keep you out of mischief for a few hours! ;-)

Does your bike have a security system?
No need to by-pass the kill switch on the handlebar, it is just a pass through switch, it is either on or off. This can be checked with a volt/ohm meter. If you don't have one of these then you can use one of those DC circuit checkers, looks like a screw driver with a light in it.

Check the fuse of the TSM/TSSM.

Does the engine crank, but just no spark? Do the Lights work? How about the directional signals?

Don't cut any wires yet.

If the engine doesn't crank, remove the back off the solenoid on the starter and press the shaft inward, engine should crank this is a direct hot hook-up.

If the directional signals work and the engine won't start then the security system is activated. I'll tell you which wire to cut to disable this, but check out the other things first.

Something like that happened to me once and it turned out to be a wire on the igition switch had broken.

It might be that simple.
