Since you've disassembled the hub.

First remove the snap ring from the backside (bearing side) of the inner hub.
Press the inner hub out. (From the back)
There is a snap ring on outer facing side of the hub bearing. Remove this snap ring and press the bearing out from the inside out.

have you got a machine shop somewhere near. A good one will be able to press the brg. out and replace it. If you can get the brg out that would be a big+ in matching a new brg to it.

The brg HAS spun from looking at the video.

If you haven't washed the oil out of the rivet area, it would be an easy check for Any Looseness .

You have been down a REAL tuff road. Even if this not the vib (for what it's worth I truly believe it is) That is a problem coming.

As hard as it may be to choke down I hope you can consider a New Clutch basket. Do some shopping around I think they can be had around 225.00.

best wishes for ya WP

I removed both snap rings, that internal one got mangled on it's way out. There's a bearing house about a half hour from me that has a press and a MRC bearing for $45 but wasn't sure if they would do it they didn't seem keen on the idea. I never heard of that brand either. I was going to try local shops today to see if anyone had the 5207 bearing in stock. I was going to try auto parts stores there's a big one around here that's been around for 50 years I think they might have one. I might try a new local Indy too but I doubt they have a bearing in stock.

WP, yes it's been a tough journey here and I keep thinking I found the issue but then it's not it! I can't afford a new hub basket. I worked a deal with jungle joe for a parts swap for his clutch and comp assembly, but I haven't heard from him since Sunday so I think he might have changed his mind on me.

Where are you at? I forget. The small city I'm in 100k or so has 3 shops that could do this. 2 indys and 1 machine shop.

Did peening the hub to hold the outer race make sense to ya?

The amount of rotating force that the rollers put to the outer race would . suprise alot folks. I have peened and used red locktite to hold a bearing race many times. Including bearings such as this.

Sealed brg Umm Don't think it would be a good idea, oil needs to be able to get to brg. I wonder if you just remove the plastic seal on such a brg, it usally will come out with a small pick.

I keep thinking there must be someone here not to far from ya.

Gotta get back to work. I have gottan fussed at about being on a forum at work. Some stuff is just that important. WP

I didn't want to mess with it so I ordered a sealed bearing. I'll peel the seal out if it's not recommended to be sealed but I wanted to order to get it here asap. I called around today. No one had in stock and auto parts stores didn't have either. Went to harley they wanted $89.60 the parts guy laughed when I asked how much it was he thought it was way too much. I'll find a press before the weekend I guess.

If the bearing number/size match just remove the seals and let it oil bathe.

Not saying it's a recommended permanent fix , but I have ran tens of thousands of miles with a hub that I center punched (peened) with good success. You can also add Loctite 609 bearing retainer around the outer race for extra insurance.

Ya it's just a sealed one same bearing number. Is there any advantage to leaving it sealed?
