Default Is the oil drip from AC still around?

I was doing some research on what AC I should go with... And came across several old threads on here and other forums where people had small drips from a Stage 1 AC upgrade. But, all the threads were 5+ years old. Is this still an issue today?

The "small drip" stopped about 3 years ago after getting my top end worked on and a real custom tune done. The only reason it drips now is if I over oil the filter element after cleaning it.

Ok. I guess there was no particular AC that was worse than others?

A lot of us have done modifications to eliminate this issue.

Some things that can be done to help with this issue are ditching the oil/gauze (K&N) filter. This is the new SE synthetic media washable filter for stage 1.

Then you can modify the intake to get the crank case air closer to the butterfly.

Another thing is to drill out you return oil holes in your breather assemblies in the valve cover or switch to a better style AC assy like this.

I just vent mine to the ground, but soft o2 way looks cleaner.

Funny thing the oily mist from the heads ... I have done several things to address the issue and I think it has all helped some ... but, the oil drip from AC is still persistent in my application ...

I installed an S&S Breather Reed Valve that is supposed to reduce the pressure in the crankcase and allow for greater oil drainage ...

I drilled out the rocker arm support holes ... as advised in this thread (as well as others) ... https://www.hdforums.com/forum/oil-a...w-by-cure.html

As far as my A/C ... I am using a Sifton integrated breather mount that vents the rocker boxes to the opening of the throttle body where the A/C attaches ...

I suppose when there is sufficient oily mist venting it can overcome the suction from the intake and is deposited in the A/C ...

I do not get as much 'blow by' as I used to ... but, I occasionally get a little oil accumulate and drip ...
