Some dealers will give you 10% off parts with your membership. At the same time, some dealers will mark up parts prices 10-15 % before they give you the 10% HOG discount
If you perform a search here you will find that the towing service they provide with your membership is terrible.
I tend to disagree with most that have posted earlier. Not only am I a HOG Member, but a HOG Chapter member too.
Besides the benefits of meeting and riding with others, I have found a financial aspect too. As an example, there is Ride 365 program. Visit dealers and earn 100 points. But things and earn 4 points for every dollar. When my wife renews for $59., she earns $30 back.
Right now, she has $35, and I have $80. We spent all we had on the grandkids last December - so, it does add up quickly if you pay attention. This riding season, we will probably hit 25 or so dealers - that is 2500 points - represents $25.
I got it for free for a year with my latest bike purchase. Did not renew it.
Never got the quarterly magazine.
My veteran discount is worth more than the HOG discount, and I can only use one.
I don't like herd rides, nor do I particularly enjoy hanging around the dealership.
