Default You guys jinxed me!!!

I've been offline for quite a while, and quite frankly hadn't had any problems with the bike worth talking about. After I got the clatter under control I installed a Thundermax and have been having some backfire issues that Zippers has been incredibly good about trying to address...at no charge I might add.
This morning I logged on to see if I could glean some information about this glitch and ran across this thread....on the way home today I looked down and no speedo or tach!!!
What the hell...did these computers communicate somehow!!! As everyone else has said, I pulled over cycled the switch, restarted, and all was well! It's just such a weird coincidence after 12000 miles of use.

Maybe you are on to something. Never had mine do it until I read about it on this forum No issues lately.

I had the Tmax on mine for about 2K miles and finally gave up on it. I had all the issues you guys have mentioned and I didn't feel like I was getting this enormous improvement in power and mpg that everyone talks about. I put the stock ECM back in and hooked it up to my tried and true PCIII. No more problems and I get to spend my time riding instead of on the phone with a tech or plugged in with my laptop.

I like wrenching on bikes but I just never got comfortable with the little glitches. The guy who bought my Tmax says it's working good for him, but then again he's a computer guy and knew enough to figure it out without help.

Well I have been researching both the Tmax and Daytona Twin Tec so I can make a decision on which unit to install this winter along with other mods. I'm glad I have waited.

Thanks to everyone in the thread for helping me in this process.
