Default Big City Thunder Baffles

Has anyone ever used these baffles, they don't look like much for the money and I just want to be sure they are worth it before ordering.

I have them; like the sound. They are a bit pricey.

In my SEII's, I lost a bit of HP/Torque below 3500 RPM, picked up a bit above that. If I had it to do again, I think I would drill out the SEII's a bit first.

I've had the originals & the new QQ's. They both work very well & sound great. I like the QQ's better. A little deeper sound & my bike seems to run smoother too. I also run them with a Fuelpac.

I will throw the monkey wrench in this thread lol.I had em I bought off a member here which I am glad I dint buy new because after install ran the bike for 20 miles and my se11 baffles went right back in.If you dont mind trque loss and popping with just a dwnload you might like em. You can get same results much cheaper if you look on nightrider I believe and do the washer trick in your mufflers.

After I found an ad for these, I called and spoke to Jim at Big City for some time. Since I work at Flowmaster, I was interested in his technological approach. I ended up buying a set of his baffles for my SE II mufflers (on my EFI '02 Night Train), and have been very happy with them. I noticed a stronger midrange, and the engine seems to rev quicker. They are a fair amount louder than my SE's, which (to me) is bad, but the bike still has a great tone to it. My bike doesn't pop at all with either baffles in. Some time ago, I had Cycle Shack "mufflers", and it popped like crazy when slowing.

I had them in my SE-II slip-ons and loved them. I was running a Big Sucker and a PCIII with a map that worked well with the BCTs. I had very little decel popping and no loss of power anywhere throughout the powerband and the sound was fantastic. I liked it better than I like the sound of my current exhaust (Side Shots). The trick is he same as it would be with any othe rexhaust mod; condifure your fuel management system to accommodate them and you will probably be happy with their performance. Don't rely on a generic map and expect better than generic performance.

Add me to the list that likes them, feels a little stronger in the mid and revs quicker. Seems like the little bit of back pressure they add was something my motor needed

I am actually looking to use them in conjunction with the Cycle Shacks to hopefully tone down the Cycle Shacks a little bit. I do get a little popping every once in awhile but seldom and since my bike is carbed I shouldn't have to mess with fuel. It just doesn't look like there is much to them but a washer in the middle of a pipe, is ther more to them than that??
