It's Not a CLUB patch or shows any affiliiation to one , don't see what the issue is ? Think the only ones it might offend would be wannabe 1%ers or someone with a big chip on his shoulder !
Would not worry about it , thinking the only thing is you might be complemented on it and asked where it was purchased . Very patriotic and cool patch , shows respect / support - nothing else !
That is not a 3 piece patch on his vest. It's 3 patches. No one is going to mess with the wearer. It is no threat to anyone or any club and in my opinion , there is'nt any m/c's that will hassle you about it. I have that same middle patch on a vest that I wear on PGR missions. Just ride..and don't sweat the small ****. I really, really, honestly believe no one is gonna give you crap for wearing it.
Ok boys I am going to educate you on how it feels to be a woman alone out riding. Mind you, I don't overly represent myself with low cut tops and such. I have curves and aside from wearing a moo moo you can see them. I don't wear anything specific, I have some leather and I have some jean and both have Harley Davidson patches but other than that I am not trying to be an outlaw. But I am biker and I like to stop at biker bars.... Now, when I enter a bar - which I like to do, and sit down and notice a club or a group of guys in general, I tend to be on the friendly side. I'll smile, I enjoy conversation and such easily with both the men and the woman because I am a sociable kind of person. But usually I am not looking for anything other than a nice place to stop, have a beer and enjoy some casual conversation.
I guess in some instances you are damned regardless because if a guy offers to buy you a drink, and you accept it, suddenly he is thinking you like him...or if you don't accept it, suddenly you might just be a bit disrespectful and I do believe the 'respect' part of this story is most difficult for us gals. Especially if you aren't interested in someone who is interested in you. Like if he tries to get overly friendly and you have to push him off ...etc....that can be very 'disrespectful' even if its not very respectful to me.
Now dont' get me wrong - I have had both experiences, to where club guys have been very respectful of me, kind and honorable, but I have also had those experiences where if the club guy is very drunk and you turn him down, suddenly he is saying he was 'disrespected' by you and you know you might be in trouble.
Then there are the chicks that follow the guys (their 'property')- you are standing there, having a conversation with a beer in hand, and one of the jealous 'biotches' decides to walk past and 'bump' you and then see how you'll react. Of course the guys get a big kick out of this.....I'm not a fighter , but a lover and I know when to leave........but it seriously sucks when all you are out there doing is trying to enjoy the day.
I have had to learn the hard way that they own wherever they are at that moment and I am but a visitor.
The state awards it's citizens for service and sacrafice, and that same state enacts laws to stop misuse of those awards. Here, misuse would mean you might get a small fine, and possibly referred for mental healy screening. That's about it.
Try prison. Some people have gotten 5 years for one medal!
...And besides, it isn't the state who awards purple hearts, etc...those are military awards from the federal govt. Some people who are in the military who catch you wearing what you are not supposed to wear will gladly give you a beatdown, then turn you in!
Alot of people wouldn't think twice if that had happened to someone, but let an MC 1% do the same.......they cry foul.
The last thing I will add is...Ready??? It's not all about Harley riding 1%ers. No it's not.
Ride your rice burner thru North Hollywood, Ca. while wearing the wrong "color" and see what happen's. I stayed out there for awhile and I'm tellin you, it's not a game. Notice: folks from "big city's" older than 18 have not replyed to this thread. Because they know the rules....
In Chicago, (and pretty much any other city these days), you don't need a bike at all... just wearing the wrong color clothing can get you shot. Yeah, it's stupid, but, it's reality. Kind of fits well with the old driving safety ad "It's OK to be right, just don't be DEAD right".
Yup... it's a free country and you can do or wear whatever the hell you want... and in this free country, there are armed morons who don't give a **** about your life or theirs.
The point of this is, it doesn't matter if you are trying to form a MC. It doesn't matter if a patch you wear is a 3 piece, or a 1 piece. And it doesn't matter if you think a MC can own it's colors or the color of it's colors. What matters is that you don't act a fool if confronted. But, some of you will anyway.
Just like you need to be careful of what you wear in street gang territories.

I'm sorry, but this is stupid. I don't get why everyone here acts like "1%ers" are some mythical creatures and god like. The big majority of the ones that I have ran into are nothing but white trash. Some are into dope, some aren't, and a lot of them have suspended licenses too. That's why LEO stop them all of the time...
It's the same as walking into a mini mart to grab a pop and some piece of **** Sureno gang member is wearing the same blue Dallas Cowboys jersey as you are. His "gangs" colors are blue so he tells you to take off the jersey. Would you stand there and let him dictate what you wear? I know I wouldn't.... I would tell him to fvck off and die.
I guess these groups or "gangs" are good at doing what they intend to do, that's to scare the sheep. Too many people let themselves get intimidated by these people, who are nothing more than trash. That goes for the "1%ers", Latino gangs and black gangs. When you get most of them one on one, they are the biggest pussies ever, but get them in a group and they are bad asses. I see it and deal with "gangsters" every day.
