ORIGINAL: Snort

Just picked up my RK Classic on Friday. I have about 280 miles on it right now.
The top of the windshield is directly in my line of sight in a hard lean or when coming up on a hill.
I'm getting used to it but was wondering if this is something that I should adjust for safety?
Thanks
My RK was the same. If'n ur about 6' tall give or take an inch or 2 ur gonna have that issue on a RK. No problems with the EG classic or Ultra I've owned

Mine does that too, but I have gotten used to it and kind of like it now. I can sit up straight and look over it, or slouch a bit and look through it.

Just custom cut the windshield to fit you needs. It is easy and you get just what you need. Info is available in DIY.

You will probably find that you want to replace your stock seat with a more comfortable one. The new seat might be enough to put your line of sight above or below the top of the windshield...something to consider.

Huuummmmm....I always thought the windshield was best placed when the top is just level with your nose......in other words you are just looking over the top of the windshield. You still get the benefit of deflecting the wind but can clearly see ifit rains or is foggy.

Cheers, Mark

After about 300+ miles today following a small group, I know that I've got to cut it down. It wasthe only issue I had. The top of the windshield was a major nuisance, even made my eyes strain to adjust every time my line of sight went through it.
Good thought about the seat Guilty.
I put my finger on where I thought I needed to cut it a few times while riding and it looks like about 2". I may start higher and work my way down so I don't screw up.
Thanks for the help.
