Are you guys that are data logging and tweaking Fuelmoto's maps really gainf anything? I've heard that they are pretty spot on when it comes to making maps. I guess if you are beyond a stage 1 I could see tweaking....but I'm Hoping for a flash and go.

Picking my bike up today (APES!), thats my plan for now, you could probably dial it in a smidge better here and there, but I doubt you could feel that.

I'm a tinkerer. Can't help it, it's a sickness. I thought my bike was running pretty good with the Fuelmoto map and probably would have been satisfied until I looked at the data logs and saw all the spark knock events, gotta try to do better in that area.
Quick question.... Now that I have created a new map based on changes made after 3 data log runs, when I do more data log runs and want to make further changes do I need to make a new value file based on the second map? Or does that original value file work for all future changes?
You will need to load the modified map into your ECM and make a new pvv file with the values of the modded map as the pv will be running datalogs on the updated map. You continue that process until your VE tables have very small changes. Then quit unless you change something else that affects airflow.

he can also save his current unaltered map(s) from FM to go back to if created modified VE tables map is bad, correct?
I have been doing my data logs using the Mega Log Viewer, which works okay. It has just expired, since it was free. I was planning on getting the excel program to use with my PV Log Tuner. And I wanted to know which excel program is everyone using, wanted something basic so I can chart my data logs. I am not familiar with excel and do not use it. Just would use it for my PV.
if you don't have ms office (excel), and don't want to spend the money on it, you can try openoffice (http://www.openoffice.org). it will read, and edit, ms excel spreadsheets, and it's free.
