I'm trying to copy and paste VE tables from one file to another, I can do the front one, highlight all cells, hit "copy" in the tool bar, switch files then highlight the front table again and hit paste, works fine. When I do the same with the rear one it changes the front one to something unrelated to any file I'm working with. I've tried it several ways, using the active and compare files, opening the program twice and switching between windows, opening the file, copying, close the program, re-open it and the new file, all do the same thing.
If I do the rear one first, it will change that one when I copy/paste the front one.
Anyone seen this??
Also, why can't I print the VE charts?? All my "print" buttons and drop downs are grayed out.
I have the latest and greatest software and firmware versions.
I do it all the time. Never have a problem. Try renaming a file "test" or something else...then retry pasting....everything should paste over without a hitch. If that doesn't work...save a copy of a cal...change all VE's to 50...then re-paste. I've never had a problem copy/paste from one cal to another....as long as you're not in a read only cal.

Found it, in the upper right corner of the window there's a box labeled "apply changes to XXX cylinder", meaning if you change the rear cylinder it also changes the front. Makes sense, but when you're trying to copy/paste both it causes issues.
1. Do they work on apple mac? if no, anyway of getting downloaded map to Powervision unit?
2. Is purchasing the Autotune Unit the only way to do autotuning? so when Powervision is on bike it records and displays info but that is all?
thanks

Im not sure if it supports Mac. You might have to email dynojet and ask. The only downloads i see for firmware is for Windows XP.
You dont need to purchase anything other than the powervision to auto tune your bike. the unit has software that will auto tune with your stock narrow band sensors. But remember it is not really an auto tune function. It will not just make changes on the fly and apply them as your riding. You have to run the auto tune function and then flash the changes the unit makes to your ECM. A true auto tune ( like the thundermax ) that is changing and adapting all the time as you ride, is not what powervision does. Check out dyno jets wen site for the functional description of how the unit works. make sure it is what you are looking for before you buy one.
Checked the site, so the autotune basic you need to have map "close" to start with and autotune basic fine tunes it otherwise you need autotune pro accessory pack,

The closer your starter cal is the better. Most stage 1 and 2 cals are pretty close. DJ has a cache of maps on their site. Also, if you purchase from a vendor that actually does tuning for a living (recommended) they will most likely be able to load a cal that's fairly close. You can use the cal they load in the PV to begin tuning your bike. I would read back 40 or 50 pages of this thread before you do anything. It's not a difficult process but it might help you decide if tuning on your own is something you're up for. It's really a simple step by step process. If you follow the steps you'll be fine.

Mirrmu... it is always better to have a starter cal that is good and close to any modifications you have made. Doesnt matter if you are using basic auto tune or wide band auto tune a starter map will just make the tuning process faster. You dont even need a starter map if you cant get one but dyno jet will provide one for you if needed. With the powervision if you cant get a starter map from anyone you can either use one that is close to what you have ( say you have reinhart exaust but no starter cal for them you can use one for vance n hines ) or you could use the stock map that is loaded in your ECM already and it will adjust as you run some tuning runs.
