Hmm. I have a 2014 Street Bob and just ordered a PV from FM. Any reason to wait until they get a handle on the software issues before I start using it or is the 2014 stuff you're referring to limited to the new touring changes.
Same here, I just ordered a PV for my 13 Heritage. Are you guys having a software issue or a "tweeking" issue?
Mike....i just got off the phone with Jamie...wow that guy is real nice. was surprised how much he was willing to talk and figure this out.
ok...here is mny next step. Jamie said it might be my spark plugs or wires. I am not using stock plugs. I am using the NGK irrudium plugs. It might not fix it but it is a suspect. the other suspect is the spark wires. What it might turn out to be is misfires. so check your plugs and wires. Also. jamie said dont try to get every knock event out. He has seen cases that it creates non optimum timing. ( i take that as too much retarded timing in some areas ). Work within the range of the knock sensors was how it was put to me. if you get a few events ( making numbers up ) like a few 2 deg pulls here and there then your good. The knock sensors are probably set to 8 degs standard. he even told me that in his 107 build there can be some ( he called them ) odd minor knock events.
Cool thanks for sharing! I am going to get new plugs ASAP and give that a try.
Updated mine yesterday no issue everything went as it should.
I have always just plugged PV into computer and run update rather than download the file.
Those of you that are new to the Power vision.
Save a copy of the stock map to your computer. If anything ever happens to your PV and you don't have a copy saved you will not get your stock map back.
Updated mine yesterday no issue everything went as it should.

I get the HTTP error with PV Update Client. I always updated with PV update client in past. I suspect they have a problem with their site?
is anyone else having a hard time trying to download the newest 2.0.5-1315?
when I hit the "download" button, it says "HTTP 403 forbidden"
Yes; my solution is still following post #5481 from Dynaulv.
I did two DL runs today; the first a short solo run and the second a 300 miler 2-up on a different tune.
I used the Notepad edit to fix the .pvv file and the Log Tuner works as it should. I might add I've tried downloading both new updates: 1315 and 1316 that was pulled from the site, but listed in my update client. I then rolled back to 1254 firmware and that is still not functioning the way it was.
For those who have not updated from 1254, I'd leave that in play until DJ gets the 2014 model ECM edition of the Firmware functioning as it should; but that's just my experience.
Notepad editing is working for me until the updates are working.
Smitty, you were able to download the 1315? and it is working for you?
Just curious. TIA
