Default Am I missing something?

Guys,
Am I missing something? Reading the tuner manual, it states:
1. Go to program vehicle.
2. Select load tune.
3. Select load copy.
4. Select load copy of original or load copy of current.

I do not have those options, and I am running the latest firmware. I have custom tunes or load copy of stock. I do not have an option to upload the from the ECM. Do you have those menus? If not how are you retrieving the program from the ECM.

Thanks.

Did you marry your tuner to the bike? I think you may have skipped the section "Saving Stock Calibration" and "Load a Stock Tune"

Why does when I plug in power vision to computer it sais I need a critical update. Ok fine with that but I keep loading the SAME critical update every single time why does it not stick or stay? Its annoying because the unit will not connect until I do that same update all the time. Some times it takes several attempts to get it to work.

I just want back and look at your previous messages. It looks like you have already been logging, way past the step of initial setup.. .. So just what is it your trying to do?

The tunes are all stored in slots 1-6 of the PV.. To get them off the PV you use the win pv software.. "GET TUNE" then pick the slot of the tune you want to pull..

Ok, so the unit is married to the bike. I have been logging as well. I have been taking my custom tune and following the procedures Jamie gave us.

Now when I read the new tuner manual, and I may be reading more into this than needed, but it appears there procedure does an upload from the EMC, not the slot location where the tune is. In addition, I do not have the option on the PV to load copy of current as stated in the manual. This appears to be a function of the PV and not the Winpv software.

Just looking to see if you have the same setup. Take a look at 3. Tune Setup in the manual and let me know what you think.

Thank you!

With the PV connected to the computer compare the Installed version with the latest version. If they are the same you are ok and do not need to reinstall it.

Default spark hits

I get hits on the spark tables but no corrections in the new map. I monitor the knock retard on both cylinders and don't see any activity but I can sure hear the pinging. I have 4 degrees pulled from the entire map as suggested in the newest manual. The ve tables are changing and yes I checked the boxes for values and have the spark data logged along with knock retard. It is also turned on in the limits screen too. Very weird I think.

I am 6% tp at idle too.

Anyone else see a high idle speed like 1250 to 1400 rpm while rolling with the clutch pulled in and then dropping to normal (1000 rpm) when fully stopped?

I have an 2011 Ultra btw.
