Power Vision Information Thread
http://www.dynojet.com/powervision/p...Power%20Vision
The database I got from another member and he showed me were it is downloaded to on the PC but if you just got yours you probably have only done this update.
.....??
Not sure that it makes any difference, but i'm using Windows 8. I did the PV Recovery thing too, but after i put the PV back on the bike, if i open datalog or autotune (basic) the bike refuses to stay running after a few seconds.
I appreciate help offered here, just don't wanna be a PITA for anyone. I've sent a msg to DynoJet and hoping to get some help tuesday morning.

Thanks,

You can currently download the previous version FW from the DynoJet link I posted above. When the download is complete you need to unzip the file and then you can use the update client and select update from Local file
I was originally given the data base file from a forum member but was also told where I could find both the firmware and the data base on my computer.(a copy of both is downloaded to your PC when you do the update)
C:\Users\your computer name\AppData\Local\Temp ( Windows 7 )
Here you will find all the firmware files you have updated and also the data base files that are needed. (unless you have cleared the folder) Then you can use the Update Client and select Update from local file. You will need to do this 2 times 1 time for the firmware file and 1 times for the data base file
For the member that had only done 1 update to his unit I would do the factory reset that Smokey Stover posted (post #6416)
Hope this helps
If anyone has anything else to add or correct what I have written feel free to chime in
Resetting the power vision and reloading the firmware is easy.
If you can not find the instruction just ask.
When you rest the firmware all you saved tunes should still be there but I would download them just incase.
I am fairly new to the PV. I am on page 435 out of 600 + so I definitely have a better understanding than I did when I started reading this thread.

I have a few questions though. I just installed some 574 EZ Start Crane Cams. Jamie at FM didn't have a base map so someone at DJ sent me one. I have done 4 AT runs (Basic) and below are my VE's at the moment. Is it just me or does it seem like I have ALOT of VE's capped on the rear cylinder? The bike certainly runs much better than it did with the base map but I really want to get these VE's dialed in and then mess with the AFR since I still get some decel popping (although not bad).
Can you guys give me thoughts on my VE's? Is it normal for the rear cylinder VE to be this much different?

And here is the AFR table that came with the base map...

I assumed that the ECM would adjust over time and eliminate the ping again. For the most part the bike runs fine...it's just that occasional ping when I twist hard on the throttle.
Will time take care of this? Should I do another autotune with crappy or mid grade fuel? Thoughts?

Run another log and repeat until you get rid of the pinging.
