Thanks for the quick replies.
If I would have seen the supplemental instructions that came with my PV I would have seen that the select "yes" to reset learned trims is the correct choice. Just like you guys said. If you can't tell I am happy and excited that I finally had something go as expected when it comes to upgrading my bike.
Thanks Fuel Moto and Dyno-Jet

I've done probably 10 autotunes since February mainly just playing around with the pv to see what all it does.. However I still have a slight hesitation when giving it throttle. The pv shows that the throttle position is at 5, not sure if that's where it's supposed to be.. I've read that the 08s had some issues. Any ideas on what I can do to lose the hesitation

yeh when is target tune supposed to be out- Jamie if you are lurking, any word???
The Target Tune product itself is pretty well finished, the good news for those that already have the current Power Vision or Power Commander AT kits is that we will also be offering Target Tune as a kit less sensors at a pretty reasonable cost allowing users to re-use their current wideband sensors. There is still quite a bit of work getting all of the calibrations sorted, firmware written, and software updates ready but I think everything should be ready to roll out toward the end of summer. Dynojet is running it extensively and Fuel Moto has been testing it in-house in various applications, it is currently installed on our 15 Road Glide. We recently swapped cams and are testing the thresholds of Target Tune and its various effects on building & maintaining the tune.
I can say without hesitation Target Tune is one of the biggest, if not the biggest advancements in Harley tuning we have seen to date. There are huge benefits at all levels; end user, tuning enthusiast, and professional tuner. The ability to build your calibration and run wideband O2's in closed loop full time over the entire AF/Lambda table to the mixture of your choice is absolutely awesome. We will post much more info when we get closer to release.
On another note, I am noticing a large and regular correlation with spark knock and lack of fuel delivery. In my logging, whenever I have spark knock present it is at 4k rpm and up, with 80% TP or more. Looking at injector pulse width, it is at or over 18ms and duty cycle is at or exceeding 80%. No amount of raising VE's or richening AFR's seems to help. only thing that does help is pulling timing, which sucks as a fix. From this I have to conclude that the stock 3.9 injectors are completely insufficient for any type of performance, even on a stock motor. It's a real shame that HD did not put the 50mmTB and 4.9 injectors on all 103" bikes as standard.
If the mixure is correct and you are getting pinging, larger injectors is not going to help (you have actually proved that if you have been richening the mixure with no fix) 9 times out of 10 pinging is related to ignition timing (assuming the AF is correct) We actually have no issues with the 3.9 injectors until you get above about 95Hp where you simply run out of injector.

Thanks for the info. Will there be a decent tuning manual coming with this that the average guy can use?

We will post more info when we get closer to release and at some point will start a pre-order list which allows users to reserve a unit. When we do a pre-order we do not charge anything until the item is ready to ship
I had a new SS 551 cam, thunder header 2 into 1 and a big sucker intake installed. It was dyno tuned and a custom map created. I had some issues getting it to this point and want to learn more about this part of my bike.
My issue is in two places of my map. The first is from about 3,000 to 3500 RPM at a steady throttle the bike starts to cut out until I give it more throttle. The second issue is at a dead stop the big is acting like it is stalling.
I have tried to load a canned map and the bike ran worse.
Can someone help me tweak my map and help educate a novice. I have read some of these post and have downloaded efi basic pdf and i think have read it 2 or 3 times.
Quick question,
Have a 07 Sporty and a 15 Low Rider, one Power Vision with 2 licenses and one Auto tune module and wide band o2 sensors. Have termination plugs for the Sportster stock o2 sensors, but none for the Low rider. The CEL light comes on on the L/R since it does not see the stock sensors. Do I need to terminate the stock cables? Or can I just ignore the CEL. And where can I get the termination plugs for the nw size sensors?
One more thing, when Target tune hots the street will I need a separate Power Vision for each bike??
And Thanks for your help Jamie, saying it here since you spend way too much time answering E-Mail already.
