Lights don't work, start button doesn't work.
Left hand side uses white/violet and then violet for the return
So if we have power going down to the TSM and you can verify this by unplugging the TSM and checking what voltage you get at the plug on the white/brown wire OR the white/violet wire when either the left or right switch is pushed depending on which wire you are testing.
If you get power down there and all globes check out fine then it must be the TSM

So....based on this you would believe it's the TSM?
Questions....could a TSM be "blown" by shorting out a light? Also, would the TSM being out result in the indicator not working as well (seems like that would be something different...but really have no idea). Finally...what the hell does the TSM do anyway...seems like any empty plastic container of nothing....

Also what you could do is feed 12v into terminal 5 & 6 and see if the blinkers light up if it sparks a lot then you know you still have a short LOL
And if you go back to your flow chart part 4 of 4 is says that if voltage is present on 7 & 8 with switch pressed then replace TSM
Well that's right you have to hold the button in to get the voltage through
TSM being out would result in no turn signals at all 4 points plus the the 2 arrows in the dash would not work either.
TSM is the Turn Signal Module it would just have electrical components inside it
Well you did blow a lot of fuses not just one and I just don't know what you have done but I have never blown one up but have seen them stop working so they are an item that does fail.
Power wires going to the wrong point and grounding out can do all sorts of damage that is why you should always check every connection carefully as it can cost you a lot of time and money.

Ordered "new" TSM, plugged it in and bingo! I've got blinkers. Spent today rewiring bars and testing everything every step of the way....got my first ride of the year this afternoon!!!!!
So, basically, the problem appears to have been caused when I created a short in my front left blinker which blew multiple fuses and apparently fried the TSM. Everything is AOK now.
Many, many thanks to Scotty3 for being patient and walking me through this. I learned a ton, and saved myself a trip to the shop. Let me buy you a shirt or something from our dealership....message me your size and address and I'll ship it to you!!
Thanks again all...I'll post some pics of the bars and partial blackout tomorrow.
