How much exhaust comes out of the left muffler now? is it close to even now?
It is a noticeable difference, but not close to even. I think since the right muffler inlet is so much larger than the left, and shorter distance in pipe, it will never be even. With that said, I would do the Fullsac header all over again, or a 2:1.
I'm really interested to know this as well. I'm trying to decide between the Fullsac and Fuel Moto options, but there just isn't very much info on the Fullsac at all. Seems like not a lot of folks are running this option.
DEPENDS ON WHAT FORUM YOU'RE ON.
IF you go on the CVOHARLEY Forum, 80-90% of the folks over there run Fullsac headers, CVO replacement baffles and screens.
That is where Fullsac really got popular first.
For the money, proven performance, ease of install, killer customer service, free dynoed proven maps, nothing even comes close!!!

Fuel Moto came to market first with the Head Pipe for the M8, with in a few months of the M8 coming out.
Steve, owner of Fullsac started developing the M8 head pipe right away. He however was not happy with gains. He would not release his head pipe until he could show good gains on a stock motor, especially in torque in the RPM most people ride. It took Steve until August of 17 to release the MX headpipe, because he wanted to make sure he had a good product.
I have been using his head pipes since 09, between my wife and I that 7 head pipes now, counting the MX. I waited for the Fullsac rather than get one of the other that were available earlier.
My 13 CVO King is 138.5 HP and 140 Troque on a Fullsac head pipe and mufflers
When you guys are talking about Fullsac mufflers, what are you meaning? All I'm seeing are factory mufflers that have been re-baffled. Is that what your referring to? I'm still on the hunt for what I'm doing with mine. 2-1, 2-2, Bassani, D&D, FM or Fullsac, Dragos and I'm wanting black.

The most common is Fullsac baffles in CVO mufflers. However Steve at Fullsac did make a muffler with his baffles, not sure if he still does. He also makes headpieces for both twin cams and M8's that the factory heat shields fit over.
$700 for a header? That makes a couple more hp than the $350 headers?
What it really does that you are missing is make more Horsepower and Torque down low where you really need it most and where most folks ride their cycles.
those are $524, the others are $699. (corrected per Steve)
which makes them a 'bargain' until you read Steve's diatribes, and realize:
-it prolly has the O2 adapter which make them read AFR poorly
-they have no crossover (does the M8 lose as much torque with a true dual?)
-the front head pipe is WAY longer than the rear, so it may be unbalanced.
shoulda kept my 103
to me, part of the "HD tax" and part of the "fun" is shopping forums or CL and getting DEALS on stuff, but i suspect it will be a while before used M8 Off Road pipes are cheap, though......
I thought the Fullsac was only $699? That's what I saw on there web site last I looked. So the spread would be S&S $525 for the true dual head pipe and Fullsac MX fro $699

And I will bet the MX head pipe compared to the S&S makes more torque and and a lower RPM which is more useful on a heavy touring bike.
That said, it seem more Harley exhaust buyers are more concerned about sound than actually performance in the RPM range where the bike is normally ridden.
Me, I shop for the best performance. Been running Fullsac stuff for years, because it work and out performs most the big names stuff.
