My question is when did the 19s get the part...heard early production bikes did not
The date that the new part officially got used on the production lines was in mid-October. I don't recall the exact date, but the date was shared in one of the M8 threads here at HDF.

Either wait and see if your engine sumps, with the obvious risk of damage, even though it will be fixed under warranty, or go to your service manager and tell him you want the new part. And, of course, you'll have to pay for it.

I believe the date is 10/10/18. BTW there are several reports of M8 engines sumping with the latest oil pump design (with seal). Both on HTT and CVO Harley.
