Im the first to say pricing on the 2023 cvo road glide etc is ridiculous and since last year, most cvos have been dealer priced at crazy levels. So not for me brand new any way but MoCo has made a decision to make these bikes in really limited quantities. Here is some info from Rider magazine:
they are making a total of 1500 globally, which means us dealers will probably see under 600 bikes.
Ultra Limited Anniversary (production limited to 1,300 motorcycles globally)
Tri Glide Ultra Anniversary (1,100 motorcycles)
Street Glide Special Anniversary (1,600 motorcycles)
Road Glide Special Anniversary (1,600 motorcycles)
Fat Boy 114 Anniversary (3,000 motorcycles)
Heritage Classic 114 Anniversary (1,700 motorcycles)
Lotta haters on the site lately. Damn near thought I was on the Polaris forum for a minute. I guess we need to justify everything. $7 bucks for a box of popsicles pissed me off but I convinced my wife that MSRP was cheap for my recent purchase. Funny how that works but it’s all about what we want and how bad we want it. Any bike or car won’t be a good investment, unless it’s a classic that you bought right.

CEO"s Plan has always been make fewer sell at much higher prices. Close down dealers that do not charge MSRP plus at all times.. That was never a secret, just seeing it going fully into effect now.
Dam CVO bikes are a joke The CVO RGL will be 60-65,000 or more at dealership .
My 2020 RGL is our last new Harley . And I will Use aftermarket parts unless It is impossible.

And that’s why “you” don’t have one. Nice looking ride you have, BTW. No joke LOL!

There are dealers who will sell the CVO Anniversary Road Glide at MSRP plus the 1200 surcharge and the 850 freight which is 54,049. Then of course tax and tags.
Bought many CVO's. Use to be a good value for the money, use to hold their value on trade. I do not see this bike in my future.

My dealer, which I have purchased 5 CVO's from in the past, wanted my 2021 CVO Ultra, and 24K for an out the door deal on the new CVO anniversary RGL....The only thing that went out the door was ME

Dave and I have owned many cvo's over the years, 8 just for me majority bought new. When riders like us start thinking the cvo pricing is out of bounds, then MoCo should probably pay attention. Wont happen though.
