My new stand came in so I spent the last couple days truing the wheels. It took about three hours each, but I got within .010" radial and lateral runout on both. Dropped them off at the bike shop and they will have fresh Dunlop D402s mounted Monday or Tuesday at the latest. Then it'll be a roller!
I bow to your patience, of all things motorcycle I've mastered wheel lacing & truing is not one of them. Learned long ago I'm a no talent fool with that.

my mate is an expert at re spoking wheels he chargers $120
Mounting your own tire is so easy, why didn't you do it yourself?
Truing is labor intensive, but very satisfying and easier with the proper tools.
my mate said that spokes need to be serviced otherwise they will break i asked him because i once saw a honda goldwing on the side of the road with a heap of rear spokes broken and not going anywhere
One of my brothers also asked why I don't mount and balance my own tires. The shop that I use charges less for tires than the online price, so the mounting and balancing is practically free. Besides, I pinched the tube when I did it in the past.
