Default Primary noise

Hey guys I recently changed out the battery on my 77 Shovelhead, but now I’m hearing what sounds like a spray paint can when you shake it. I reached out to the guy who built it and even sent him a video but I’m still skeptical of this noise I’m hearing. I don’t know if I’m psyching myself out but I usually would t overlook a noise that sounds unfamiliar. I started the bike up and it seemed to ride fine but it definitely sounds like something rattling around in there.

Because the noise I’m hearing is coming from that area, today when I rode it though I noticed that coming out of first I heard what sounded like a scraping noise and could feel it as well. I’m thinking it might be the inner primary bearing? As for what cable tensioner I’m using I’m not sure because I haven’t dived into that part of the bike since I purchased it.

no video up yet but open the primary inspection cover and check your chain - does the noise change when you pull the clutch lever? does it change with RPM?

The chain is too tight - you can only adjust it on the tight spot of you adjust it on the loose spot its making a snapping sound
