Sears red jack modification

I have a Blue Point MC jack, sold by Snap-on, that I was given as a gift a few years back. I hardly every use it because of its fitment with the Dyna. I would imagine that if I were to cut away the two tubes in the middle (red arrows) I could do this same mod, am I correct? I would also need to either notch the cross bar on the bottom (green arrow) or cut it out and relocate it back a few inches because it interferes with the jiffy stand. Do you guys see any issues with the path?

Looks like it might work if you cut off those tie down loops from the front lower crossbar and put your jiffy stand on a two by four pad before sliding the jack under. Or you could sell the jack on Craigslist and buy the Sears or Harbor Freight. I have the Harbor Freight and it works fine with the Sears mod if I put my jiffy stand on a plywood scrap.

Yeah, looks like it.
That green arrow "cross bar" looks like some kind of thing to help a human move the thing around,, a "handle" for something.
Just cut it off, there's no real need for it besides getting in the way.

Here's mine....Harbor Frieght jack, same original dimensions as the Sears jack. Because I can weld I've added filler tubes into the bolt holes of the lifting arms and replaced the cross bar between the pads, going as far as to make the cross bar go through the pads and welded to the opposite outside walls. Now I know there are only spacers on one side but this works best for my bike. Welded to the bottom of my frame on the right side only there is a metal plate welded that apparently is protecting some wiring so in order to reach past it the extension is only needed on one side (see last pic). I know it's not ideal but the bike is really solid when up and the way I have it set up I can remove one of the spacers and move it to the other side to then make it even if I ever need to use the jack on something different.

I did the conversion on my sears red jack, 6" grade 8 bolts, even added 1/2" spacers between the lift bars and the relocated pads but there is no way it is going to fit under my 03 Low Rider.
It's not lowered as I have stock shocks and I even went to local HD and got the spanner wrench to make sure my shocks were set at the highest setting. Still won't fit underneath. I checked and the stock ground clearance listed online for my 03 Low Rider is 4.6" where a WG or a SG clearance is 5.4"-5.9". I can barely get it under the right side frame but it hits on the left side frame rails. I tried and put a 1x4 under the kickstand but then I can't even get it underneath the right side at all. I guess I have no choice but to get the tires up onto a 2x6 and use it that way.
