For those of you who aren't aware, I started a thread a while back after I installed a new Tri-bar LED tail light. We got on the subject of LED signals, and Citoriplus was curious about the color and brightness of the signal LED's I bought compared to the HD Tri-bar. I have the Tri-bar on my bike and the red signal LED's on my wife's bike (along with the Biketronics run/brake module). BTW, I am using my wife's bike to compare because I have amber LED's and no run/brake module on mine.
I bought the signal LED's from Biketronics. They are 48-LED panels and they are VERY BRIGHT, unlike the Kuryakyn LED's and tail lights that I wasted my money on. IMO, I believe the signals are a little brighter than the Tri-bar, but the color is pretty close. All-in-all I think they are about as good of a match as you will get.
The pics aren't exactly the best representation of the brightness and color, but here they are anyway. Hope this helps!
Thank you very, very, much. You just convinced me that I'm going to have to spend more money.
They look GREAT!!!! Very bright, especially in the dark.
I think I'm going to have to go for thered LED's with a brake/turn controller.
Who knows, maybe they'll wake up some sleepy head in time to NOT run my butt over.
Dave told me that if you call them they will set you up with the LED's. You can also get them with the Biketronics controls from Custom Dynamics, a site sponsor here I believe.

Again, thanks for the pics.

No problemo.
There is one more thing I should mention to anyone interested; as I told Frank in an earlier post, another reason I got these LED's is because they really fill out the signal housings nicely.
Yes, they light up amber. The red ones are also clear when not illuminated.

Thanks. That is a great set up. Should draw less power too...
No problem. Yes, they do draw less power; hence the reason for the Smart Equalizer. Without it, the flashers and canceller won't work. It is probably worth mentioning, the reason I picked the Smart Equalizer over some of the cheaper load equalizers is because it doesn't actually use the extra power; therefore, it does not heat up. If you read the fine print on some of the other brands, they state you can't use the 4-ways for that reason.
