@Cloudshaker

1. Sometimes the new guy needs to have thicker skin, this is a motorcycle forum after all.
2. No need to get wrapped around the axle because of a comment someone makes, just ignore and move on.
3. Writing and making sure others on the internet understand what is being asked/stated is sometimes like chasing cats, then someone comments to get clarification.
4. The only way you are going to know someone is by their written word and it can be difficult putting thoughts into words that others comprehend.
5. You gotta maintain your sense of humor here and once you get to know the folks you will understand.
6. No one is trying to run you off.
7. Oh and you can never leave as you need to review the following link (Why can't I get removed) : https://www.hdforums.com/forum/off-t...t-removed.html It will give you a smile and the type of humor this site has.
8. Hope you fix your issue and stick around. Let us know what the issue is when it is discovered. Always good to know the solution.

Best Regards.

I tried to explain why I made the posts I did, it looked from your posts like you were not acknowledging any suggestions, my mistake.

You said you are not a "quitter" - So come on, let's get back to the basics of the problem [ with your bike ] and let personalities not get in the way.

This IS a good bunch and they will get you fixed up.
Thanks again, I'm not a quitter refers to getting this bike fixed, not letting someone be an *** to me. I will get the bike fixed one way or another. But I do like the way the poster after you says Newbies need to have thicher skin, not we as a forum should treat everyone with simple respect. Mr MartinSpike;21450641], I believe you are a man of honor, and I believe you are correct that so are others on here.

Thank you I respect that, and leaving is as simple as removing myself from the thread and blocking the site. Got a harley mechanic known in this area as Pappy, basically a legend here, personal friend. He has a lot on his plate right now so I thought I would try something new, and not trailer the bike to him until I at least tried to figure it out with some help. Everyone makes mistakes so I will just let it go as a simple misunderstanding. I am trying EVERY suggestion until I know I'm only spinning out.. at this point I am waiting fir for more parts to be delivered and the weather to let me try it again. Ad I said the bike started great again this morning before I made any changes. I still, replaced the plugs,, drained and changed the gas, installed a new Drag Specialities ignition key module, and closely checked the wiring, once I try it again I can go from there. Again thanks and I accept what you are conveying.

I do hope you get your bike fixed. Electrical problems can be a pain. As mentioned. You have people trying to help you. You just need to tell us if you did what was recommended and the result.

Good luck!!

One little note - Be careful while troubleshooting. Try one thing at a time. Too many things done at once can lead to other problems arising and you can really get in a mess.
I don't recall if this was asked before - Do you have a service manual? That will give you a lot of specs for when you start checking the wiring and resistence's of the CPS or other electrical items.
