Is the P1353 the only code? Did you clear the code to see if it throws the same code? Did you check to see if the connection between stator and voltage regulator are still good? Are the ground connections all clean and tight? is the the voltage regulator ground good? Is the voltage regulator good?
Also, not trying to be picky but 2005 was FLSTCI. No H. This will help when using Google.

I would check your wallet. You'll go broke blindly replacing parts without diagnosing the problem first.

And I agree with you. I'm going to change the pigtails or wiring to the injector just because it looks worn and its not very expensive. New pigtails tomorrow...$6.

There aren't any around here. We had a good one until last year. Not sure what happened to him. Thing is that he knew that he was the only one, and charged accordingly.
