oh yea, and 25 cents for the bandaid when the drill slipped
How did you prep the chrome? Was there any chipping or enough to notice later? Thanks
Wasn't cheap, but it works well. Used it for the first time this past weekend and it passed muster for my needs. With the exception of purchasing the tour pack, I designed and fabricated the whole project during the Winter.

Ok so I am now on the hunt for some turn signals to replace the stock ones - want sleek but visible! Since I am going to be fixing the GD brake light mine as well get in while I am in and get this done too...Going to mooneyes website unless you all have some suggestions on where in Dallas Texas I can pick some up!

Looks great! Is it a permanent mount, or do you take it off when not on longer trips? If a full-time mount, have you thought of adding an additional brake-light on the pack for visibility?
Either way, outstanding job on fabbing up the mounts...looks VERY good
