...... D&D's being too loud with the std baffles then not loud enough with the Qt baffle I choose not to change pipes.
Just curious........ are the D&D's too loud from a legal stand point or just for your own taste? At first, I thought that mine were rather loud as well, but I got used to them. I love the sound of a performance built motor!
I also asked about the quiet baffles and was told that I'd sacrifice some power. Well, I didn't stick this much cash into it to lose power so I went with standard.
To be honest, I did want to stay with the Rush slip-ons because I love the look of two pipes but again, I was told I'd be sacrificing some power.
The bottom line is that I'm a power/performance nut and usually don't sacrifice power or performance for looks. Besides, the D&D's look has grown on me!

Greg: was not a legal issue with noise, never heard fatcats live, looked last summer for Fatcats to hear but couldn't find any. Most riders here have never heard of them. Tuners say they are loud. The Rush 2" aren't quiet, we wear plugs most times now. 60% of reason is wife likes what we have.go figure!!!!
I've heard them on the net but haven't found good sound tracks, they all sound different, I know the net is not the place to get a good sound track so I emailed D&D if they had a better website or anyway I could hear them but never got an answer. Other (?) was with the pipe contact on right hand turns.
I like the looks, best 2-1 in my eyes, from what I've seen I believe they are leaders in performance and would have gained some TQ&HP with the fatcats, I just didn't get them because I had some doubts! Next time I have engine work done I'll look at new pipes then...
