Mine is 96 ci. 6 spd don't know factory specs cuz I can't find them on any site. Bone stock other than pipes and a/C . K&N . Maybe it good I don't know. Seems normal from Dyno guy said.
based on several googles your torque seems about right. HP I cant seem to find but thats plenty as its not a heavy bike. I think thats plenty and if you outgrow it then you can certainly get it up to 105+ Ft/lbs no problem How do you find it?
I love my bike. Thanks Neil. I want to bump it up a little this winter. When I'm working I'm hoping to get it to shop for a bit of increase. Maybe stage 2 . Just cams and head work if all goes good. That will be it for a while. My wife wants a Harley trike so working hard is priority this fall as well her trike. Mine may have to wait.
I got h/p ratimg from dyno tech. i started my bike tonight to see if it sounded any diferent. Sounds different to me. sounds awesome. got a little rumble. yayaayya. Gonna test run wednesday if i get home.
Posted in the regular forum as well, but figured I'd get mor input here. I'll post my sheet later.
Had my bike on the dyno this past weekend and I am not happy with the outcome. The bike made 120.1 HP and 125.6 ft lbs. I was expecting more with my current set up. This is what I am currently running.
2007 FXSTC
120 c.i.
11.8 to 1 Compression Ratio ( SE 12.1 Pop up Pistons)
62mm throttle body and intake manifold and breather.
Hurricane Heads
S&S .640 easy start cams
5.3 injectors
Rhinehart Crossbacks ( still waiting on my RB Racing Pro Stock Challenge)
Zippers Chain Conversion Kit
Not sure why my numbers were so low. The 120R before me made 128/131. Any input is appreciated.
Actually you should probably post this in Engine Mechanical...........Ok, lets start with Pop up pistons. Obviously they are domed pistons, What is the cc's of the dome and are they stock bore or oversized? Next lets look at the heads. Have the ports been opened up , what's the valve sizes and what is the combustion chambers in cc? Do you know the flow numbers in cfm of the heads? Do you know what ignition you are running and what the curve is like? Did you remap the ecm or at least have you had a tuner modify it? Also what thickness is the head gasket and what is your Deck clearance. What pipes are you running. ? All this is essential to help us to determine a good rough number for the motor. Have you made any modifications to the drivetrain, as in gear reduction? Also the Dyno sheet will also give a lot of info. Your serve....
Pretty small injectors for that tb. What kind cranking compression do you have? South the late intake closing from those cams and the pop up pistols your going to need a lot of combustion volume.
Compression test is an easy first step. The injectors should at least be 5.3. Are the intake runners of the TB matched with the heads intake ports ID? The dyno curves look smooth so a tune was done I assume. The pro stock will help but still low for a 120ci with the 640 cams, and if you're really at 11.8 static that motor should rip.
