Fxsts handle bar help please!!!
Don't get me wrong I do like the rise a lot.
Looked at all the pics I could find and it seem's no one has anything really different on a fxsts.
Anyone know of anything that will work on one of these bike and look good?
Something chopperey kinda looking?
I'm in the midst of a Mini-Ape install on my Train.
I ordered 2 pairs and kinda mocked em' both up.
Pair #1 was the standard diszed Mini Ape with 8" center and 34" tipt to tip...They looked wrong as I expected they would.
Pair #2 Is a set of Krome Weks Narrow Mini Apes. 5" center, 31" tip to tip, 7 of pullback. They are perfect. Just picked them up from the powdercoaters. They give that kinda Jesse Rooke Stingray effect without having to do a RSD style "Vintage Bar".....

They are only like $60.00 and come dimpled and knurled. I did hafta to drill em' so I can run my wires internally....
I think your springer is what 4.25 wide at the riser mounts?
What about a set of Nash midget gimps?:http://www.streetchopperweb.com/tech.../photo_13.html
I havent seen many of the narrow type for the springer due to your wider mounting points. If anyone knew where you get a set of the classic basic apes with a narrow bottom and correct knurlage for springers it would be these dudes:http://www.jeris-springer.com/contact.html
Or you do a set of Road6 bars...Narrow bottoms for sure. Get em' on E-Bizzle fer $130.00 bucks..I think they are a good value compared to the big bucks required to ride with Roland!!

I had the 16" Road 6 Customs on my '04 FXST...I did not like them so, they would be for sale! Slightly used and already drilled for internal wireing.
They are a lot narrower looking than the traditional apehanger.
Send me a PM if you are interested...not looking to make a killing on them either.
