I agree.
Although I'll be rolling a 180/50 wrapped around an 18x5.5rim
I'd be a little wary of clearance with a 200 when slammed on a Shotgun. So, I went the 180 route. Besides, I'll have that Fender covering most of the wheel that would be seen from the back anyways.

Haters gonna hate on deuces though..

Didn't see nothing wrong with the fender. Looks better than my stupid duckbill. Sexy bike!

It was just one of those limited run motorcycles. Do you think HD is going to keep making the switchback forever? IIRC, the Deuce ran from 01 or 02 to 2007. That's 5-6 years. The crossbones was limited, the rocker was limited, etc...

If they wouldn't end lines like that, you'd have 15 different types of Softails for sale and I don't think HD has the production facilities to make that many bikes. They're have to have more lines retooled for specific bikes that weren't so interchangeable.

Heritage Softail
Springer Softail
Fat Boy
Bad Boy
Softail Standard
Softail Deuce
Night Train
Softail Deluxe
Softail Custom
Cross Bones
Rocker and Rocker C
Fat Boy Lo
Blackline
Softail Slim
Breakout

200 in the rear:

They don't just arbitrarily set production end dates. They run a product until it falls below an acceptable ROI. That is the life cycle of every product.

Exactly. If it's not selling, they aren't going to continue that model.
I don't mind it one bit the Rocker C was discontinued. I rarely see another and never one set up exactly as mine is.
