Default Internal Wiring Handlebar 2011 Heritage Softail

I put this in another thread bit thought I might get more response with a new one. I want to do internal wiring on my standard Heritage bars. The problem I have is I can't find any info on how to remove the pins from the connectors that are on this bike. The connectors are JAE MX 19 4 pin. Or do I have to cut and rejoin the wires?
Any help would be appreciated and I'm sure someone has done this with a later model Heritage

Just make damn sure if the wires are twisted together, that they remain so when you run them internally. This is also mentioned in the service manual. Ask me how I know...

Section 5 of this manual may provide more information ???

Here is a link to the extraction tool for the pins of MX19 connectors. I'm quite sure it is not worth US$214.

Thanks for your help mate. I to can't believe that a little tool could cost over $200 I think I will be just cutting the wires.

Well I filed down an old rivet to the size and shape I thought might be right and it worked. Total cost about five cents, better than $230 for a tool. Okay now to drill out the bars.
