Got my blackline dash, black flush mount gas cap and also picked up a black daymaker headlight while I was up there as well. And of course the gauge hits the blackline dash, but man does it look good. But it's a good thing I already got some 1" spacers. I'm taking the bike apart tomorrow to have a bunch of the chrome stuff powder coated Harley black.
Gauge shouldn't hit the dash. I installed the blackline dash using instructions and part numbers found in a couple threads on here about it and it fits perfect. My gauge cluster is in stock location.
It hits alright, just barely but it hits and everything is stock and the dash is sucked down as much as I can get it. But like I said, I got some 1" spacers for the risers so it'll be all good once everything gets back from powder coat.
I have been following this forum since November and now that I am able to "join" and make posts thought I would drop a line. I picked up my 2015 Breakout in November and just moved to Florida. I installed V&H 2n2 BR a few days after buying the scoot. I have enjoyed reading everyone's posts and getting some ideas. My next item is purchasing some apes, cables and mirrors...24v and others have done a lot of homework thus far and I appreciate the education, so I didn't have to learn the hard way. Again, happy to be here!
Just had a dyno done with the s and s mr103 cams. Runs good , they should be this way stock. Just in case any of you were wondering about this cam, i was the test dummy. Worked out well.
So I noticed Sunday night my headlight was bouncing around a lot.. thought it was loose but when I checked it out it was actually the bracket inside the housing was cracked. I put the daymaker in last summer. It is a lot heaver, but didn't expect that.. dealer is replacing under warranty so that's cool,I guess...

How do you like your lope with those cams....silly question I know. Those are good numbers for just cams in a 103B motor.

It sounds a good, nice heartbeat at idle but nothin to crazy. Id imagine that would change when the compression goes up from stock to about 10.5 to 1 and some headwork. These fi twin cams just dont sound like the older stuff did.
