Not just you. I just got my 2015' Breakout, and I noticed that right away.
I have a 2001' Softail Standard (For sale by the way) and the kick stand is
longer, and it goes forward a lot more than the one on my Breakout.
Your not alone on that one.
2015' Vivid Black Breakout. All stock right now, but not for long.
That looks bad *** man!
Just got my 15' Breakout, Vivid Black, all stock but not for long.
After seeing the pic of your bike, I'm gonna slam mine the 2".
Honestly, I never would have spent the money on the SS if it wasn't for the ex girlfriend...It'll ride a little stiff, but not to bad.I ride mine fully lowered most of the time anyway
Those two inches lower are money dude. Just the right height.

Cool *** bike!
I am in the process of putting my softail lowering kit on this week.
Just curious how different does it ride?
Don't know yet. The weather here has been shitty 40* and rainy. Going for a big ride on Saturday. Its supposed to be sunny and 68* so I'll find out then. From everything I've read with this kit ride quality only diminishes a little bit so if that's the case I'll be fine. I went to the breakout from a Nightster and that felt like going from a rigid to a couch lol.

Are going solo or 2 up?
Please let me know what you think either way. Mt bikes in the shop do a few things and that's one of them. If it sucks, then maybe I'll abort.
I ride 2up a lot with my ol. Since I put a new seat and a 260 she says it's more comfy. She don't give me **** for pouring cash at the bike, so I'm trying to keep it that way.
