Hi Guys,

I was thinking about upgrading the headlight in my 2014 breakout.

Has anyone installed a HID kit into a BO yet?

1st question is how do you take the rear turn signal plugs apart and what's the terminal PN for the terminal needed for that plug as well. I'm adding a stand alone break light under the fender and I found that the unused wire in the plug is just for the brake and I'd like to use the stock plug if possible.

2nd question is how hard is it to take the oil tank off? I'd like to get that painted to make the bike. And along with that, will that work with the hot oil running through it? I don't want to paint it just to have the hot oil ruin it.

Thanks in advance.

Got my blackline dash, black flush mount gas cap and also picked up a black daymaker headlight while I was up there as well. And of course the gauge hits the blackline dash, but man does it look good. But it's a good thing I already got some 1" spacers. I'm taking the bike apart tomorrow to have a bunch of the chrome stuff powder coated Harley black.

Hi Guys,

I'm thinking about ordering some Big City Thunder Baffles to replace the stock baffles in the Breakout.

I've seen a few people in here have done it, but i'm not sure which ones/size to get.

any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks.

Hi All,

My angled riser spacers are due this week so, as I don't have a service manual yet, I have a couple of questions that hopefully someone can answer:

a. What size are the riser bolts and will I need longer ones?

b. Has anyone got and exploded view of the riser-yoke assemble that I can look at before starting the job?

TIA!

If you're just using the angled risers off amazon that where posted, the smaller ones then you don't need longer bolts. It's an easy job, all you need is a 3/4" socket/rachet, unbolt the risers, slip the adapters in, and rebolt the risers down. It would be helpful to have someone there to held hold the handlebar assembly while you're doing this. But it really should be a 5 min job. Hope this helps ya.

That's the ones. Excellent, thanks!

I thought I'd ask, after all that's one place you really don't want you short of threads. ;-)
