YA MAN! That's some "ol skool" **** right there- I did the same with ply and diamond rubber mat on a rat bike a long time ago. And you gotta love the zip tie mounting. heh. That is what's cool about the Breakout- it is a modern bike, but you can do some ol skool / rat bike mods and visually it works.
lol No Problem at all, was planning to try them anyways, they look very similar to the ones in the picture I attached before! Ganna save you the troubles, times, money and efforts since I will be the first one to test !
I bought a set about 10 mins before you from same seller so we're both official "testers" now- that's funny though- you are in Saudi and I'm in Los Angeles, but I get mine 1 day later than you?? How's that for an efficient US Postal Service.. lol

Thanks indeed for the info! Do you have part number? Moreover, is there any mounting kit should I buy with the Fairing? I mean what are the parts I need to get it mounted? Thnx
I've been looking at exhaust options for a while now and I've been back and forth between keeping the stock (it really grew on me) and the vance and hines big radius 2into2. Ive seen it in chrome which looks awesome and also in the powdered black which looks good too. Then I thought about getting the heat shields finished in gloss black to match the black paint on my bike. You guys think this would look good? would it cause problems because of the heat?

Oh crap- Don't even start with asking us if something would look good- you'll get 500 different opinions. lol I say just do it. if you don't like it, it's easy to change.
You can use high heat gloss engine enamel. Use a high heat primer first - VHT makes this and you'll find it at auto parts stores. Keep in mind it is really hard to paint gloss black and have it come out nice. Any dust in the air will get into it and you'll see it. Any surface imperfections in the prep will show. To have it come out nice, it's all about the prep work and painting in a clean area. Rattle cans don't have the best spray patterns either, can spit globs, etc.
Now the real question- Would you be ok with the added noise? The stock pipes are pretty quiet. The VH pipes are not. But yeh they look great.

Gloss black looks great, but it won't hold up for long. At least not any way that I have found.
How about having the shields done with Camcoat (or a similar high temp ceramic coating) in gloss black? That was used on the manifolds/headers and side pipes on my Cobra (which got bloody hot) and that never peeled or discoloured. Just a thought.
There are options which are semi gloss or satin, but I have yet to see something in a true gloss hold up on exhaust.
I have powder coated my shields twice now. The first time it faded to flat in areas and blistered a little. I wrapped the pipes, then re coated the shields. It is much better this time, but still not staying glossy everywhere.
