Unscrew those footpeg feelers they don't do anything except scrape the ground way too soon.

I'm almost certainly going back to the stock seat & pillion set up. That seat in the pics is the Danny Gray Reduced-Reach seat, which eliminated the over-reaching problem I had with the stock bars. I was very disappointed when I spoke to Sheryl at DG (I'm not blaming Sheryl at all, btw) and she told me that there is no matching pillion for the RR seat, but that they could make me one...
I'm pretty sure I can find a local upholsterer who will be able to reshape the stock seat and perhaps add a gel pad.
My brief impressions are mixed. I feel VERY much more in control, perhaps too much. Being so wide, the merest hint of movement has an exaggerated effect on the steering which, after coming from drag bars, can be disconcerting.
I'm sure I'll get used to it and love the look!
I'm going to rethink the Linbar now though, so any suggestions for some kind of engine bar that is visually minimalist, whilst remaining effective will be much appreciated.

The problem was that the stock Breakout seat is too shallow right where the driver sits to add a gel pad - you basically have to cut away most of the stock foam to make a pocket deep enough for the gel. It helped when I had that done, but the better solution by FAR turned out to be getting the Corbin seat that I was able to get with a really wide and thick passenger section.
I posted photos of it earlier in this thread. Just search for a posting by Jim G that includes "Corbin".

Tomorrow (It's Beer O'Clock here now) will see the stock seat and pillion back on, then I'll consider what else I may want to do...
I would add that these bars increase the utility of those mirrors 100%.
My poor Fatbob after an argument with a car, thankfully my injuries were light considering the impact, count myself very lucky indeed.
The replacement after 3 months of insurance woes, so far I've installed Rush slipons, don't see me doing much else to it for a while apart from the front suspension and tyres, thanks to you LA_Dog that process will be far easier with all the valuable information you've posted here.

With the tires and front suspension I think you'll be pretty set for a while. Only other thing worth doing later is better cams along with bump the compression on that 110 to 10.5:1 - you'll get a lot more bang out of those inches.
Do you have a PV2 yet? You'll want a decent tune on it with the Rush slipons - the HD-supplied stage1 maps are extremely tame.

I have a twin bike TTS, first hit went on the Dyna, so when I get a free weekend I will complete a few tuning runs. Major thing is to get it richer for cooler running, especially with the 40c+ heat that's rapidly approaching. I will take the current tyres through this summer and then swap them over for the Night Dragons.
Very trick setup for any bike- definitely a "visual only" upgrade albeit a nice one.
I like those mirrors- would love a set in black. Thunderbike really does a nice job with modifications to the Breakout.
BTW welcome to the forums!
the mirrors are called Rizoma Circuit - nice looking indeed.
I would prefer the TB rear-kit here, too ... probably better to save to extra money of the CVO for some parts.
