Right of the bat, I'd suggest you budget at least $2000.00 for mods on a new BO. The BO is a great looking and riding motorcycle but the OEM mirrors are useless to most riders and mods to the mirrors or bars is therefore an early days must. The headlamp is a glow stick so needs to be addressed too. Not critical but highly desirable is some modification to the spongy front fork suspension. Ricor Intiminators work well plus, perhaps, a spring change (Intiminators + Springs + oil = approx $350). Your OEM rear tire will wear out in 5,000 mi. That may be a good thing. Its the *****. Anything BUT an OEM replacement is a big improvement. Dunlop 250's and Metzeler 260's plus others are popular. "Yes" they fit.
I LOVE MY BREAKOUT !! That cannot be overstated. Facts are facts, however and if you go into the deal aware of the "necessities" involved your BO ownership will be much more satisfying than if you learn these things by surprise. Even with the cost of the mods, the BO is worth it. Its an easy, fun and classy machine to ride.
Fun tip: If you're used to heel/toe shifters, there is a cheap drag specialties unit that fits right on. Your selection of pegs for the thing will cost way more than the lever. I've used 1 extension (rear) and 2 extensions (front) and have easy to index shifting and "zero" dragging of the rear peg.
OH ! I did have the DS shift lever through drilled and tapped so a set screw could be set into the channel on the spline where it mounts. It cost me peanuts at a local machine shop and assures the lever won't work its way off. It IS a bit wider than the OEM lever so mounted, there will be about a 3/16" inset to the spline shaft, just so you know. "Works great" and costs closer to 40 bux than alternative choices at 4 hundred !!
And on it goes (whew).

This is something that caught me off guard as all the other breakouts I see around I'm not hearing pop, nor do I hear any talk about this. I was under the impression that I was going to get a perfectly "tuned" bike with no issues. Isn't that what I payed for?
Now before everyone says "do a search there's plenty of threads on this topic"... I have. And, I've heard many mixed answeres. I'm just hoping someone here especially the couple of you running similar setups would have a more definitive answer.
Should I have them re-tune my bike or should I accustom myself to the sound of my almost brand new bike sounding like some old jolopy? Or should I just start riding around like an old man to avoid these pops?
Any info will be greatly appreciated.

The BO is really solid out of the box for me at least, no need to really change much, you may feel different. Do agree with what someone said about the stock mirrors, they need changing to see to the rear. As with any stock bike the sound is a bit muffled so you may also if like most want to make some changes there, but it is not necessary by any means.
The bike looks great stock IMO many ruin the look with all the mods gone wild. The bike in your signature looks pretty modded out so you may be up to making a bunch of changes. Listening to some of the replies here and on another thread one would think the stock BO is dangerous to ride, just want to clarify it is not, in fact quite the opposite.

Forks are indeed differerent but I guess their diameter is as well. This requires differet triple trees. Moreover cvo forks have two caliper mounts and this mean you have to change also front wheel and tire (sacrifying your 21" for a smaller 19") cause you need two rotors. Then to have rear wheel matching new front one you also have to change rear wheel...
Ok, pretty sure you understood my point. Is this mod worth doing? Probably is more cost effectiveness to change the entire bike and buy the new cvo if you like that front end.
