If you have the 2014 CVO, then you have the HD Turbine wheels, right? Those are the wheels that my dealer added to my 2014 non-CVO Breakout. I then did the 30T / 70T conversion. I was able to buy a Performance Machine pulley on eBay that worked perfectly with the Turbine wheels:

The hub spacer had to be machined to the correct size for the HD axle. If you check out LA_Dog's gearing change thread which is a "sticky" on this Softail forum, and look at my series of postings on my mod, you will know edxactly what to do.

My specific mod took a long time simply because I wanted someone experienced in this kind of hub mod to do the spacer, and that shop had a long work queue at the time.

I'm sorry I do not know the Performance Wheel part number, but it exists.

Check out my postings on LA_Dog's gearing thread.

closest I found was the HD 6 slot at least with HD pulley no spacer is required..

Those that are doing the pulley swap the lower guard pn 60316-0A is a 70T from 00-06 softail and my local dealer confirms bolt pattern matches that of the breakout..however we won't know if it will allow for the 9mm shift in wheel location on the 30/70 swap..min gets done the week January 9th so will give the guard a go and report back..amazingly they have one in Stock at local dealer.

Thanks Bodgie

Do you know the part number on the pulley & is it Chrome

I read the other thread about where Jim changed his pulley & it seems like he went through a lot of trouble

I wonder if anyone's ever tried to put one of these on their HD? The R1 is an incredible ft end and you could also utilize dual ft brakes!

Just get the R1 and ride it...or do the front suspension upgrade that is stickied at the top of this Softail forum.

A lot of people like the look of the inverted ft end + the dual brake set-up. $450 ain't a bad price for all of that
