CAL91068 -Bike looks great. I want to get my rims powder coated black. I have a set of black triple trees to put on then I'm probably done on the powder coating.
Dalt10, thanks man I have waited a while to get it done and real happy with outcome. Trees would definitely make that look and balance things out nice! Being that I lowered the bike with 1.5 inch collars, my next move will be progressive 422 shocks to get the same lowered look with more dampening. Put up some pics of your bike, would like to see
If you fix your bike's front suspension you'll drag the pegs A LOT less. The BO's front suspension is squishy and soft to say the least.
Fu@k!!! There USED to be a sticky at the top of the Softail room that details how to fix your bike's front susension. Find it. Do it. It works. The author was LA Dog.
Thanks for advice. Read the whole thread and front suspension upgrade is on the list, will be done this spring. Regarding this upgrade, is it necessary to use those single rate springs with intimidators or would it be enough to use just good progressive springs. I use to have BMW GS800, the front end was a complete CRAP, felt like on a rollercoaster, just replacing the springs and oil made a huge difference.
The thread written by LA Dog was moved to the 2018+ Softail Models room

Here are a few. Did a lot to the bike but always have more to go.
Great forum guys, new member, love seeing something specific to our choice of ride! Introduction to my ride, got some decent mods on it with latest being blacked out rims, sprocket and belt guard! I’m humbled by the great rides I see here!
Just wondering if I can bother you to ask what Chin Spoiler you used? Thanks........
Great looking bike Dalt10, love the blacked out look! Appreciate all welcoming me in and the compliments. RadoR6, the bag on from is a Harley knock off I picked up here in Colorado at a bike show, nothing fancy but the simplicity is what I wanted, pick attached. I have a question for the group, anybody put any other upgraded shocks on, I don’t want air ride but looking to see if anything better than progressive 422s out there. Thanks

For sure man, I got it off eBay , didn’t want to spend a ton cause I wasn’t sure I was gonna leave it on. Took a chance and Found it with good quality and already painted, came with bracket and all for $34 free shipping. Bolted right on no issues with paint chips or anything and it’s been about a year
