about the easiest install for wiring I have ever had! In fact mounting was the hardest part. I actually drilled holes on my fender and plugged the stock mounts with chrome plate on the strut. I had to then run the wire under the fender up through the battery box. I will take pics and send. Trust me man you made the right choice! They are much brighter than big ugly stock and I love that they clean up the bike! I get more compliments on them than anything else! Here is my latest after powder on wheels and everything back together.i just took pics. I have gorilla tape over the inside fender now to check for rubbing with new tire. On the wiring did you by the wiring harness? I did and it was plug and play to existing bike female ends?
it came with the standard leather buckle straps but I added 4 black zip ties around the tree to keep it firm in place. Just ran them through the slots that the leather buckles go through on the bag. Hope that helps
Glad winter is over...it was an expensive few months.
Do you remember what brand mirrors you have on this bike? I have found some with a similar shape head but
the stems are very ugly. I like the straighter stem like you have here. Thanks...........

Gotcha. I do the same. Just wasn't sure if there was a better way. Oh well still works!
I'm going to start a new thread just on this topic- e.g. going 32/68, 30/68, 30/70. I agree this is a real breakthrough to be able to do this for a 13% improvement in gearing. And this would apply equally to all current FXD/FXS bikes. I have the 30t front tri-glide pulley installed and stock 133t belt, and now the 70t rear pulley.
Can't wait to take her out for a spin- My only final concern would be a potential increase in vibration at highway cruising speeds. But maybe not- the 70t billet pulley is larger in diameter but actually much lighter.
Hey Dog, just love that bike!! How did you find that 70t rear sprocket? I mean what does if normally fit. Sportster, or 2006 Dyna. I want to do the 30/70 on my breakout and found the front sprocket but not the rear ?
Does anyone here know the size of the brake rotors? Mine is a 2015. Having an issue with aftermarket brakes made for 11.5” rotors. I was always under the impression these are. Calipers measure at 11.7”. But everything else I read says otherwise. Thoughts?
Anyone have a good lead on chrome riser extensions for a breakout? LA Customs are the best I can find, but they have a strange bore on one side that I couldn't want. Spacer Jim isn't in the game anymore, so looking for alternatives. Chrome is preferred or polished aluminum.
I think we can all admit here the Breakout is the best bike Harley has ever made. I used to think the Fat Boy was good looking bike but when the Breakout came out, it dwarfed it. Out of sight, out of mind now. You just can't create a better looking muscle bike than the Breakout. The torque does leave something to be desired. But as for the looks, everything is pretty damn perfect.
