has anyone put mini apes on lately? on a 2006 1200c, do you need new cables?

Post some pics if you put them on, I've been thinking about the mini apes and don't believe I've seen any yet installed. I would think you are more than likely gong to have to change cables, thats quite a bit of difference in handlebars. Also are you going to leave on the risers or change that?

Yes, I'm pretty certain you will need to add longer cables - there are some posts here regarding adding apes that go into more detail.

I've to mini apes... yes you need cables (clutch, throttle)... you need new front brake line... You need to extend your wiring...

About $350 for all the parts...

i want to keep the riser. one guy replied with a great photo that shows the look. i think it will be a lot more comfortable
