Ran it on the DYNO at the end of last year's riding season.
2010 1200, Stock Internals, Bassani Pro-Street 2-2 Drag Pipes, Figure Machine XLFLOW-R4 Air Cleaner, PowerVision Tuner.
I only had the tech booked for an hour, by the time we got everything set-up and going I was only able to get numbers for my modified tune and the original FuelMoto tune, wasn't enough time to run the canned tune from DynoJet.
I already know the bike felt smoother and ran better after setting my VE's and playing with AFR's... The main reason I did the dyno run was to compare if there was actually any increase in power, not just drive-ability. I also wanted some numbers to compare my custom 2-1 with after I get it completed.
Results were .... The modified tune put out an AVG 70.51hp and 72.13ft-lbs vs. the original tune was AVG 69.99hp and 70.55ft-lbs.
So I actually gained 0.52hp and 1.58ft-lbs... I wasn't expecting a huge difference seeing both were running the same spark tables.
I guess the results are pretty standard, for a typical 1200 "stage 1"... The power curve was actually more linear than I had anticipated with these pipes.
It was fun to see, hopefully the 2-1 will bump the numbers up in the low-mid range.
Base FuelMoto Tune:
Modified VE's, Slight Changes in AFR:
This is a mock-up of the pipe I'm building, just waiting to get it back from the shop TIG welding it together then send it out for ceramic coating. It's a BUB Lakester 2-1 stepped header, paired with a custom reverse cone muffler from Cone Engineering.
A quick poor quality sound clip:

Upgraded to SE1200 kit now with Big Radius / Hi-comp Pistons 10.5:1 and SE HP Cams / SERT Dyno Tuned..... A company called Valley Racing in Beecher re-dyno tuned what the dealership did sloppy. Dealership handed it to me at 14:1 and popping a lot on decel. Final numbers didn't really change but the power curve was much better. Final number are: 83.27 HP / 74.76 TQ with flat 13:1 AF
