Default adjustable & detachable tour pack??

Anyone make an adjustable and detachable tour pack kit for ultra classics? Want to remove and install easily and have adjustability for my wife when she rides. Any part numbers, kits, suggestions, do and donts, etc would be appreciated.
Thanks.

the stock T/P ( pre 13) has 2 positions on the mount, forum member Dawg has posted a $5 3rd position, by drilling a couple of holes.

george anderson makes a t/p mount which adjusts fore and aft.

lots of us use the HD detachable kit for our tourpaks and it works for most of us- but kinda spendy.

If I had to do over I wouldn;t buy the kit as the T/P can be removed in about 30 minutes with a couple of wrenches once you know what you are doing.

so depending on your model year ( you could post that when asking questions) the best answer may vary.

Thanks for the reply Mike. The year would help, it's an 03.

Just recently purchased the bike, its my first Harley.

I just thought if there was a removable & adjustable kit, a guy could have the best of both worlds. A street glide look in a few minutes, throw it back on in a few minutes when the wife wants to ride.

yes there are kits for the 03.

you might want to figure out a new plate mount, such as under the tailight, there are kits for this.

you'll have that chrome hoop- some guys cut this- i don;t know it that's a good or bad idea as it braces the fender.

The grab handle mounts under the seat. That comes off by removing the seat. Is that the one you mean?

Does your Ultra have a radio amp installed under the tourpak? My 2005 does, makes removing the tourpak almost impossible.

The factory kit for an Ultra is spendy. But, there are aftermarket kits for less than half the price. Look around on Ebay and Google.
