My bone stock (accept for the Supertrapp 2 into 1,) with a stock Stage II, 95 inch kit (all from the factory,) = 85 hp / 95 ft/lbs tq (and mine weighs about 75 lbs less too.)
I'm sure it's a good motor but I'm surprised at the mild, moderate gains over last year.
Considering the serious choke the EPA and Cali. CARB has thrown into the mix this year it's surprising they have what they do.
I said it once and I'll say it again. Those of you that are all wrapped up in a bunch of numbers on a piece of paper need to take one of these new ones out and actually RIDE IT. It's freakin awesome, I pick mine up Monday.
na. just gotta remove the tank. 4 bolts, 1 bolt and 1 screw to remove the trim, disconnect hose and fuel pump connector, disconnect quick connect fuel line. I can remove my tank in less than 5 minutes.
No need to remove the trim, it's even easier than you think. On the new M8, you just loosen the two front tank bolts, remove the back two, disconnect the fuel line, unplug two connectors from under the seat, lift the fuel vent hose and you should be able to tilt the tank enough to access both plugs. Don't forget to depresurize the fuel line before you disconnect the fuel line though.
I actually just got back from Demo Days here. I took the 2017 Ultra Limited with the 107 for a ride. I have an '09 with a FM 107 with the 555 Woods CAMs. I've loved my bike with the upgrades, but I'm going to seriously consider upgrading. The '17 was such a smooth bike. All I personally feel I would need\want to do is put a stage 1 on it and ride it. The bling, sure here and there, but as far as the motor and tranny. That bike is soooo smooth compared to my '09. You can ride that '17 in 4th gear at 70mph and not even realize it.

Just took one for a ride and couldn't agree more. On paper my 107 build still has more HP\Torq. then the '17 on paper, but in the saddle there is no comparison... Overall the '17 wins, both bikes have good HP\Torq, but the '17 is just so much smoother.
