Plugging antenna into stereo

the outer fairing is easily removed.
remove 3 top screws, remove windshield...replace center screw lightly
place tube socks over spotlights
remove 4 screws on inner side of fairing
( if unsure you can find on youtube or search the forums- same for 1996 to 2013 models) 2 screws kinda in front of your brake and clutch levers, 2 screws down low between the fork tubes
place towel on fender, place towel on bench or where ever you will set the fairing down...
remove the center screw you put in loosely, pull fairing slightly towards you...reach in and unplug headlight
and ease fairing over the spots
this is quicker and easier than removing the headlight and reaching in
