Anyone know of a passenger floor board spacer, when my wife rides with me her boots rub on my side covers. I was thinking I could space them out vs telling her, its hard enough to get her to ride with me....lol
Can't answer your question, but I wonder if she is not very tall and her feet only just touch the boards? There are kits to let us adjust and raise them, so if she can put more weight on the boards she may also be more comfortable. Just a thought! My wife and I are a similar height and she doesn't touch my covers, but nor have I ever made a point of seeing where her feet go!

No she is not that tall I am 6/2 and her head is shoulder height to me .I have the boards as high as they will go, her comment was they could be lower but they are comfortable where they are now, She commented about "spacing them out some".
Just want her to enjoy riding, I have said something about the marks so now she will be uncomfortable worrying about it ....She has new boots and that is when it began, 3M protective film might be the answer . Just thought someone might make a spacer....
That is her solution.

I just put the passenger spacers on my RGU because my wifes boots were starting to scuff my side panels. I also lowered the boards an inch. She claims to be more comfortable and her boots are far enough away from the side panels that I feel better.
Without some kind of inner lip to force the boots farther out, an extension of some sort is not a guaranteed fix, especially if her "comfortable" position is with her feet close in. That would put the solution back to the 3 M film.
