Default Lyndall pads 7195 Gold+

Just bought a set of Lyndall pads for my 03 RKC. The stock pads ive always used but they are dirty and noisy. Given I have wide white walls, im sure hoping they are as clean as they claim. Im putting them on the back since its a real pain in the a$$ cleaning the rear wheel with the bags on. Ill be getting some for the front shortly but up here in Canada at almost $100 a pop, ill try these out on the back first.

I use Lyndall pads on my Heritage. They are less dusty than OEM pads. But, white walls get dirty from more than just brake pad dust so you still have to clean the whitewalls.

Bone Doc, I agree dirt and crap can come from far more than brake dust, however I keep my ride spotless as best I can and even a rinse after an hours ride and I can see the brake dust rolling off the caliper onto the white walls so maybe these are an expensive attempt to eliminate the need for more than frequent cleaning but I've heard a lot about these pads for being quiet clean and hearty so Ill give them a try.

Thanks for your advice.

Well I installed the front pads as well and I must say, what a difference. My 03-RKC never was that great on stopping, but first time out after putting them all the way around, I inadvertently squeezed the front brake more than I should have and almost went over the bars. Not impressed the $300 Canadian I paid for a complete set (front and rear) but they work and they are quiet.

I have a double set of Lyndall Gold pads for Twin Cam bikes with dual front discs. They are still sealed in their original packaging. I traded my Road King in and don't need them now. PM me if interested.
