I have 07 with sert ,airbox and rush 2.0 slipons. bike runs fine but pops when i leave off throttle considerably. Anything i can look for before i take it back to be dyno'd again. the dyno showed 14-1 mix throughout the rpm range when i picked it up.
An occasional deceleration pop usually indicates a lean fuel mixture caused by carb or injector set-up,or air leak at intake manifold seal.Your 2007 is not likely to leak at manifold, and uses throttle body injection. Your 14/1 air to fuel ratio would probably be fine for stock intake and exhaust but it is too lean for open exhaust. It would probably run better at 13.5/1.This will be hard to achieve without eliminatingO2 sensors.
Are you running factory head pipes. If so when getting off the gas the back jug is sucking in air and causing the O2 sensor to read lean and adding more fuel. Answers....... leave the gas ope just a little dont shut all the way down. or change to a true duel header pipe. I add the Thunder Max programer to my bike with the Auto tuner and they set the softwear up so i dont have any pops on decel....It was worth the money.

thanks folks, yeah i have factory header pipes. damn i thought i had all the bases covered when i went with the sert. the guy that did the dyno i know is good from last bike.... i'll give them a call. you would think the sert (sold by hd) would be flexible enough to tune that sort of issue out. guess if they can;t i,ll just have to find a set of slipons that will work. damn if i have the bucks to go true dual now especially since it was the parts guy and tech that said this set-up was a good choice.
live and learn
I have the same problem when I added fuel programmer I though that would cure it. I have about 1,000 miles on my rushes. They were rattling so I pulled the baffle. The packing inside is more than half gone. You may want to check that.
I don't have the SERT but do have the Rush slip-on's, A/C, and Fuelpak and do not have any decel pop witht he stock header pipes. I would double check the slip-on to header for leaks and then I would see if they could add some fuel in the closed throttle position by changing the SERT settings. Just a thought..
Doublecheck the seal of your pipes with the header. I tightened my down as much as a I could with a 1/2" ratchet and both sides were leaking slightly. Disassembled the slip on's, put a light coating of high temp RTV and reassembled and now they don't leak.
While starting the bike up to let a friend have a listen I could feel the air coming out of the pipes. Since I have fixed I have less popping but I can't say I have eliminated it.
