I'll bet the D&D gives a higher average torque number acrross the RPM range than the BSD. That's what's most important. SOCAL, Put the dyno sheets side by side for us, if you can.

I have a 2002 electra glide classic, big bore kit, gear drive cams, vance and hines dual exhaust. This big has carb. 71.4 hp 90.45 torque.37 mpg all the time, runs great at freeway speeds.
Please post your dyno numbers with what exhaust you have:
Slipons---
True Dual w/ what slipons--
2 into 1---
This way we can get somewhat of a comparison.
Yes I know this isn't scientific because every bike and every tuner is different along with the region you live in. Just wanted to get a GUESSTIMATE..
The reason I put it here also was so that only tourers answers are posted. [
On my 2011 road glide 96ci I am running Vance & Hines dresser dual headpipes with Rhinehart 4 inch slip ons, a sreaming eagle stage one air cleaner and good tune with a powercomander 5.
Results on our in house dynomite dyno are as follows 84 hp and 102 tq.
Over the winter went with the se204 cams, along with Rinehart Tru Duals with 4" mufflers. To complete the package a S/E super tuner pro and S/E a/c. I love the sound and am pretty happy with the outcome. HP 89.94 and 104.1 Torque.
VERY nice sheet! I'd be curious to hear what your bike sounds like now with the 204's - do you have a vid you can post?
Thanks Keith. I don't have a vid, (don't much believe in them as giving an actual account of how pipes sound), but I can tell you it performs fantastic. The sound however is horrible. Nothing like what I've read and researched on these forums over the winter before I ordered the parts to make what I've got now. I wasn't expecting it to be so high and tinny. I've asked countless mechanics and bystanders if they think cams are in it and they said it doesn't sound like there is. Now I've put it away for the season and going to insure my other bike until I've sorted out the exhaust note. Thinking of dropping down the baffles to 1.75" and if that doesn't work sell it.
