Ok, just got off the phone with the dealer. I actually lost torque with the new stage 4 103 kit(SE CNC Ported heads and 58mm TB)
Stage 2 103 204 cam
HP 87
TQ 106
Stage 4 103 204 cam
HP 92
TQ 105
Thinking I lost a little due to the TB and 5.3 injectors? Oh-well new cam next winter then. I just love the 204 though.
What exhaust are you using on the bike? did you change pistons? What is the cranking compression and did you do a leak down?
2012 FLHX, SE 254e cams,Heavy Breather,D&D fatcat quiet baffle, SE Pro Tuner, Burly Heads. Was hoping for a little more hp. but was really happy with how soon the tq. was there. haven't got a chance to ride yet, but my builder rode it and said I was going to be really happy with the way it runs. They also said I was getting all there was to get out of the 254's, could get bigger numbers with different cams, but they would come on later, and probably wouldn't gain me much in every day normal riding.
Yes they are ported, have larger valves and are milled to the specs you want, the company is out of Cal. You tell them what you are running for pistons, cams, Exhaust and so on, then they will build you a set of heads to work best with your set up.
I have the flat tops that came with the 103 BB kit when I had the 204's installed last year for the stage 2. I am also running a thunderheader. Have not even seen the bike for any mechanical tests or results as it is in winter storage/ upgrades in Michigan. I am active duty in Chicago.

Something is really not happy with your bike. You're TB is way to large. But I just tuned a '12 Limited with 585 cams, thunderheader and a heavy breather. The rest was stock and he made 99 HP and 107 TRQ in SAE (4th gear). You spent an awful lot of money to get results you could've gotten with good cams.

Yea gonna get with the service rep, he is on vaction till next week and figure out whats going on. I thought my curve would shift a little to the right but not actually loose torque #'s however a 5 HP increase with the install. The graph in the SE catalog shows the 204 higher than the 259e in the torque catagory. any other suggestions as to what may have caused this, I may have to go back to the stock TB but they bored my stage one air cleaner back plate to accomadate the 58mm. If not I will change CAMS next year and ride this out for the summer.

I'd lay money on if harleytuner had your bike to tune, the results would be much better. Even with a TB for a 124" motor. Why do guys go with these huge TB's? They just don't work well on lower compression motors. Put one on a 124" with the right cams and heads then okay but a 103"? I don't get it. No disrespect intended. I just think some times guys get sold a bill of goods and then things don't work out quite right.

Got the Heads and TB for 1100, they were doing warranty work for a base gasket leak so the labor was free just had to pay for a retune and the bored air cleaner plate. but opted to add MCR too.

It's hard saying what I could do with it. I don't know the abilities of the guy that "tuned" it. I sure would like to take a peak at the dyno sheet. The problem at most dealers is that they have a parts guy that might not know a whole lot about the performance aspect of it, so they sell the customer as much as he's willing to buy. A huge TB can definately take your build the wrong way.
