Here is the issue with the electronic throttle: Since it is new, everyone is trying compare it to the cable system. In their minds they are concentrating so hard on it they imagine things. Such has lag time when rolling on the throttle, engine has a mind of its own when bike is cold rpms raise and lower. Blame HD and its dealerships for everything. When it boils down to it, the system works just fine.
Quit looking for issues and creating them in your mind and just Ride the bike and enjoy it.
Or you could just stay in your car!!!!![:@]

My 08 Ultra FBW works perfectly.Of course I \\;only put \\;16,000 miles on her in 6months.Regards,Tom ps:When the bike is stone cold(&\\; cool weather)the idle does fluktuate between 1000 &\\; 1400 till it reaches operating temp.

What idles up when cold? Then returns to normal idle when warm? No lag time when rolling on throttle?

How long would it take for TBW to change from "suspicious new idea" to "will never buy a bike without it"

If my understanding is accurate the TBW was necessary because the new ABS didn't leave space for the cable version of \\;cruise and old ECM
Didn't think it was a performance upgrade Was it
