Here is the issue with the electronic throttle: Since it is new, everyone is trying compare it to the cable system. In their minds they are concentrating so hard on it they imagine things. Such has lag time when rolling on the throttle, engine has a mind of its own when bike is cold rpms raise and lower. Blame HD and its dealerships for everything. When it boils down to it, the system works just fine.
Quit looking for issues and creating them in your mind and just Ride the bike and enjoy it.
Or you could just stay in your car!!!!![:@]

OK Who had 10 months in the TBW over-under
How long would it take for TBW to change from "suspicious new idea" to "will never buy a bike without it"
LOL
If my understanding is accurate the TBW was necessary because the new ABS didn't leave space for the cable version of&nbsp\\;cruise and old ECM
Didn't think it was a performance upgrade Was it

Cheeezzz!!!! I remember all the guys saying no way disc brakes were going to work, no way fuel injection would ever replace carbeuretors, now there is no way the TBW (NOT FBW!!!) will work, it's a piece of junk.&nbsp\\; Oh yeah, points will always be the way to go, can't trust those electronic ignitions.&nbsp\\; These same guys, including myself are in the garage with the laptop hooked up to the fuel management system on the bike with an ECM and Brembo ABS, fine tuning their fuel injection system.&nbsp\\; Get on the progress bus or get under it, either way, it's in gear and moving forward.

I dont think it was an space issue with ABS. I think police bikes had ABS on previous years.
